My Halloween Break
So I took a bit of a break from Cards to make my Halloween Costume. It was quick but I had to focus on it! I wore it the other night at Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland! Proud to say that I got stopped over and over by people wanted to take my picture. Plus I scared the heck out of a poor little girl dressed as The Little Mermaid when I tried to steal her voice! Here's me and my little Buzz Lightyear.

Red and White Holiday Challenge
So, one of my followers (can you believe I am not related to any of them?) is doing a Red and White Christmas Challenge. Being that I don't celebrate Christmas I probably should not try to enter but I like to try and win stuff so there you go!
If you belong to my family you know that every celebration (sometimes even the Hanukkah ones) center around some kind of Asian food. It may be that my Mom was born in China, or it may be a MSG addiction. Either way, this is my Red and White Holiday entry.
Just as a side note, which I really don't need to say, it is MY blog after all: This card kinda reminds me of that scene in the movie The Christmas Story where they all go out for their first "Chinese Turkey" aka a Peking Duck.

Used Regular ol' white and red card stock. I used my cuttle bug to emboss the squares and my cricut Wild Card Cartridge to cut the Seasons Greetings twice which I then cut and pasted to make the "eating's". I used a Hero Arts stamp for the little girl, and a stamp that was given to me by my wonderful Aunt who purchased it as a wedding gift. It actually says my name! SO COOL! I added a few tiny pearls and Wa-la (which is Chinese for "there you have it")!

My Pink Stamper - Make a Halloween Card
Loving these challenges! Here is my simple but cute Halloween card:
This is an all Michael's dollar bin card! Found the stamp and the ribbon there. Used my Cuttlebug to emboss swirls on the black and then added the green Halloween paper. Cut a couple of circles with my Cricut and added a bit of ribbon to pop the orange out! Attached the spider with pop dots and TA-DAH! A quick and cute Halloween card!

Something Cute
This is my response to the My Pink Stamper challenge to make something cute. This card is much cuter in person and did not photgraph well.
I only own two Cricut cartridges, the one it came with, Plantin SchoolBook and Wild Cards. I used my Wild Cards cartridge to make the peek through card and frame then the Wild Card alphabet to do the peek-a-. I used the Halloween card phrase to do the Boo. (I need an exclamation point I think!) I had a very cheap set of Halloween stamps that I picked up for a buck somewhere, poor quality but it did the job!
Hoping to win a challenge so that I have some more cartridges to work with!
As a side note: Will work for Cricut Cartridges! (hmmmm, that could be a cute card too)

My Saturday Challenge Entry
I used my Wild Card cartridge to create the 6 inch blackout Hanukkah card and then created the 3 inch actual card. I used the 3 inch card as a stencil for the Menorah and used glitter glue to fill it in. The sentiment I printed using cream card stock and mounted on yellow and blue paper. Found some old gold ribbon in my stash to add a tiny bit more flare.
